![]() What's an LS4? General Motors® (GM) manufactured performance-oriented variations of their W-Body sedans; they include the 2005 - 2008 Pontiac® Grand Prix® GXP, the 2006 - 2009 Chevrolet® Impala® SS, the 2008 Buick® Lacrosse® Super, and the 2006 - 2007 Chevrolet® Monte Carlo® SS. These cars came with a 5.3L / 325ci transverse-mounted V8 engine that was rated at between 290 - 303 horsepower. These cars are also all Front Engine / Front Wheel Drive vehicles, unlike most of GM's other LS-series V8 engines (which are typically Front Engine / Rear Wheel Drive). As a result, these vehicles can be very difficult to find performance (or even replacement!) parts for. ![]() I've put a lot of time into finding parts -- both OEM / replacement and aftermarket / performance-oriented -- for my 2006 Impala SS and I want to help others who share the passion I have for LS4 W-Body cars. It seems -- and I could be wrong -- that there are performance enthusiasts in the FWD camp (that is, folks who make Chevy Cobalts, Dodge Neons, Honda Civics, and more do incredible things) and there are folks in the V8 camp (that is, folks who make incredible power in V8 Chevy Camaros, Ford Mustangs, Dodge Challengers, and others). The LS4 crowd lands squarely in the middle of these two groups -- we have Front Wheel Drive cars powered by V8 engines. Since neither camp wants to claim us for their own, it's difficult to find parts to crank up these beasts. That's where this site comes in! I've put together a web site that will make it easy to find performance parts for your LS4 W-Body and buy them through distributors. I'm also posting as much documentation on modifying and maintaining your LS4 W-Body as I can. I hope you're able to use some of it. Very special thanks go out to:
